Hello community,



our customer needs to send out trigger emails from a campaign to contacts who have the "Do not use email" flag set at that moment.

The emails are confirmations for the contact persons that they have registered for an event, so that is completely fine from a legal and GDPR perspective (=legitimate interest).



However, it is currently not possible, because trigger emails miss the functionality that is available in bulk emails with the "system email" flag, which causes Creatio to skip the evaluation of the "do not use email" flag before sending the email.

 

Does anyone know of a way to work around this? Programming would also be fine.

As for now, sending trigger emails to the users with the "Do not use email" checkbox is currently not possible via basic tools. 



We've registered it in our R&D team backlog for consideration and implementation in future application releases.

Is there a way to add Date Macros in Bulk Email Template? Suppose a bulk email was sent on Monday and the second email is sent two days later(Wednesday), I need to add the day on which previous email was sent(Monday) to the email body of the one sent on Wednesday. The second email should read, "I left you a voicemail on Monday...." and the day should be populated dynamically by going back 2 days from today. Any way to add javascript inside the HTML code for the block?

Or execute the code behind the "START CAMPAIGN" button on campaigns, when campaign is on manual start mode or the SCHEDULE CAMPAIGN if the campaign start mode is "at the specified time"

Hi, sure I have a campaign we need start and stop due some conditions, so I can change from a Process some campaigns values, but cannot Start it from the process (or I don't know how to do it).

 

If I have a manual start campaign, it has a button to start it https://prnt.sc/PRhNgH_YhpGI, and if it has a start date defines we have the Schedule campaign button https://prnt.sc/fzSsKfTPvJ0a, so in both cases the campaign need a manual action to start immediately or to schedule to start in the specified date.

 

My question is, can I from a process trigger the actions behind the buttons, or start it when manual or schedule when has a start defined date?

If I want to add dynamic links in an email template, I tried to do adding a button to click to product with the URL to open the Web page get from a macro (URL is on a field on contact table), didn’t work, didn't add the tracking tokens, for example:

Any ideas how toe enable adding the tracking tokens to the "Dynamic" Button?

At this moment full macros link will not work for tracking, but there is a workaround with a link+macro tail.

 

So at this point instead of [#Contact.UsrButtonProdID2#] you will proceed with https://www.implementos.cl/[#Contact.UsrButtonProdID2#]?bpmtrackid=4

 

The domain of the website will be the same for the recipients, but the content will be dynamic.

It appears when Creatio “see“ where must be a URL, a non-URL string, as is the case of a macro, it “think” there aren't any URL to track, and didn’t add the tokens, to complement Dan comment, what I did to solve the problem:

* In images I introduce, on the image address, the first part of the image URL “https://images.ClientWebStore.com/” and add the field using macro to complete the URL with the specific image address, getting something like this in the Image URL: https://images.ClientWebStore.com/[#Contact.UsrImgProdID2#], in the UsrImgProdID2 field I have the rest of the URL, like this "img/1000/HERCAR0005-1.jpg"
 
* For the Product, in Link to Open add “https://www.ClientWebStore.com/” and later the rest of the product URL from the macro, resulting value getting something like this https://www.ClientWebStore.com/[#Contact.UsrButtonProdID2#]  and works as is expected, Creatio add all the expected tokens. In the UsrButtonProdID2 field I have the rest of the URL to open the product page in the store, like "inicio/productos/ficha/gata-hidraulica-32-toneladas-HERCAR0005"

Somebody knows how can I add data from a detail connected to the contact who belongs an email?

 

I'm trying to compose a bulk/trigger email including some data on contact details, but no one detail is available from the template editor

 

Any ideas?

Dear Julio,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to insert information from details into macros. One account can have many records in the detail and the macro can only use one record. 

The "Connected objects" list displays only the objects that are present as columns in Contacts\Account.



We already have a task registered for our R&D to implement such functionality in future updates.

I'm looking for a certified Creatio developer who can help us develop a Creatio addon to provide specific functionality to the Bulk/Trigger email template editor (mainly the ability to insert a photo taken from a provided URL into a field in some detail connected to the contact to whom the email will be delivered and enable that when clicking on the image, it is redirected to a URL provided in another field of this detail...).

 

This is a necessary requirement of a potential client of ours, with this solved (knowing that it is possible to solve it, how much it costs and the time it takes), we can win this client ?

Marketing Plan is a Section from marketing integration.

So, we want the related "events" and "Campaign " in the calendar. As I can see we can create Marketing Activities but there is no way to Connect "Events " and "Campaigns " in the marketing plans.

Basically, when I tried to add the necessary parameters for the request, I've noticed that I can't add an object parameter without defining it as an array.

This setting is blocking me from following the structure of the request above. Because the "request" parameter is not an array. I also tried to import the wsdl, and it didn't work either.

 

Is there a way to bypass this? Should I create a script task instead?

Because this is an OOTB behavior with the value "is array".

Yes, you're right. When the request parameter is of type object the collection is considered a typed array and the checkbox is checked by default and not editable.



In this case, using a script task for the SOAP service would solve the case.

It would be awesome to be able to have a landing page generator for Creatio. Make public facing landing pages using the benefits of Freedom UI Designer :) rather than having to use external landing page apps as only option.

It is expensive to gather new contacts/leads/opportunities/clients.



In order to improve retention, it would be great to have remarketing capabilities, for example: contacts that unsubscribe from newsletters, having the ability to retarget them on Google (Search Ads, YouTube etc), Meta (Facebook, Instagram), LinkedIn, etc...
