Hello,

Our customer has a requirement to log in using SSO via Microsoft 365, and I have a few questions regarding this.

  1. Does Creatio support SSO via Microsoft 365? I came across an article about setting up SSO via Microsoft Entra AD (https://academy.creatio.com/docs/8.x/setup-and-administration/administration/user-and-access-management/authentication/set-up-sso-via-azure-ad). In this case, is "Microsoft Entra AD" the same as "Microsoft 365"?
  2. For an on-site environment, is it necessary to set up the MS Exchange integration service (https://academy.creatio.com/docs/8.x/setup-and-administration/on-site-deployment/containerized-components/email-listener-synchronization-service) before configuring SSO via Microsoft Entra AD? What is the scope of the Email Listener Synchronization Service functionality?

Thank you in advance!

Hello,

Creatio supports Single Sign-On (SSO) via Microsoft 365. In this context, "Microsoft Entra AD" is indeed the same as "Microsoft 365" when referring to the SSO setup described in the article you referenced: Set up SSO via Microsoft Entra AD.

For your second question regarding an on-site environment: the MS Exchange integration service (Email Listener Synchronization Service) is not required for configuring SSO via Microsoft Entra AD. SSO and email synchronization are separate functionalities.

The Email Listener Synchronization Service specifically supports email-related tasks, such as synchronizing and sending emails within Creatio. It does not affect or play a role in SSO configuration.

Hi,

The Tenant ID value should be taken from the "Directory (tenant) ID" in Azure.

The Tenant ID parameter needs to be filled in only if the user uses the Office 365 (Graph API) service type. When switching to the Graph API, the user will gain the ability to automatically create Teams meetings.

This is not a mandatory field if you are using Exchange and Office 365 (EWS) and not using Office 365 (Graph API).

You can leave it blank.

Hoping someone can assist any way they have found to help when using O365 with Creatio email. When we send a bulk email from our generic sales@ email(which most audience members are used to) we receive a few hundred OOO or 'so and so no longer works here' responses. What are people doing to filter those to a different folder in their distribution lists so members don't get all those emails?

Hello,

Such functionality is not the part of the Creatio setup. You can configure the rules in your mailbox on the email provider side to move or delete such letters from the inbox automatically each time you receive one.

Hi!

I try to connect with my Office365 account. But after I set the email address and entered the password, I receive a message that one of the settings are unvalid. But they are properly set.

More I´ve tried to use the Outlook connector from the marketplace, https://marketplace.bpmonline.com/app/smartcloud-connect-bpmonline, but here I receive everytime an error message. For this I have a ticket at the support team open. Has someone else got this problem?
