Does anyone knows how to work with excel reports with the new business process element? Even though an Excel report is created, he doesn't appear on the business process element "Generate Excel Report".

It only allows "Custom Reports", not Section Report or Edit Page Reports. Also, for Custom Reports, there is a new checkbox on the report page that allows it to be used in processes. You need to check that, then it will show up in the process element to select.

Since our instance has been updated to version 8.0.6, the configuration (fields and filters) of all our reports has disappeared, any ideas on how to get them back ?

Are there any options to assist with the Excel Report Builder? The Word report builder does not work for my processes. The instructions do not show all of the options and what we can or can not do. I am trying to add in data from different objects, but continue to run into errors. Any help to walk through the process is appreciated.

Hi Patrick,

Unfortunately, the Excel reports builder is a free add-on, so there are no options for online assistance. The only support available is via the Creatio Community.

The add-on is quite simple and doesn't cover all complex cases. I recommend using an app guide as a list of available features. For example, the app doesn't allow downloading data from different objects in one spreadsheet. You could consider a workaround by developing a data view and downloading this data view like one object using the app.

Hi Team,

We were trying to generate a report based on the service section. We created an Excel report to generate the number of cases created for last year along with some other filters. However, when we try to generate the report we are getting the below error. This error pops up only for certain filters and for some filters the report seems to be working. Like if we get the report for month it works while if we try for last one year it pops with an error.

Hi Gokul Krishan,

this error relates to configuration or data. Set up all columns from the report in the 'Cases' section, use similar section filters, and try to export data using a basic functionality 'Export to Excel'. Come back with results.

Thank you

Hi,

I am getting an issue while setup an excel report add on in development instance.

I installed the package from the market place. The package URL is as follows:

Package  URL : https://marketplace.creatio.com/app/excel-reports-builder-creatio

I am following all steps mentioned in the reference document as given below.

But the added Section is not displaying in the workstation.

Please help to fix this issue.

Hi,

first, logout and login to the application again. If the issue persists, try to add first any basic section to the workplace and after that the 'Excel reports' section.

Same issue - did you get this resolved?

Hi Julian,

Unfortunately, we couldn't reproduce the issue on the base product to submit it to the responsible team. Please provide any additional details to reproduce this issue.

Note that after successful add-on installation you need to logout and login to the Creatio again. It helps to apply all changes from the package.

Thank you.
