If I understood your business task correctly, for this purpose you can use the "Access rights setup wizard for Creatio" add-on. Please find more details about the mentioned add-on in the link below:
I have just installed Access rights setup wizard for Creatio.
After selecting some accounts, clicking on "Set up access rights", and choosing permanent (or temporary) righs the system shows "loading" and never returns... Am I missing anything ?
1. Contact the support service to install a package with the [Access rights] business process or install it manually using the [Installed applications] link in the system designer.
I installed via the the [Installed applications] link in the system designer.
2. Record access rights configuration is carried out by clicking the [Actions] button in the section list. To configure access rights:
a. The user who makes the configuration must have the access rights to the [CanManageAdministration] system operation.
b. The user must be a member of the [System Administrators] organizational role.
I am using the Supervisor user, which has the needed access rights.
I had the same issue with this package. I believe it started working after I logged out and back in again (a refresh wasn't enough). I might have also compiled the workspace as well.
I recompiled the workspace, and now I have another problem: I can grant access rights for a selection of accounts (If I open each account individually, I can see that the access was granted). But If I select the same group os accounts (with "Select multiple records" / "Set up access rights" / ") nothing is shown in the "Granted rights"detail, as if the rights were not granted.
Is there any setting to set Partner Portal registration template? I found only SSP Portal registrations. Is it possible to set different template messages for SSP and Partner?
How can I build a password recovery link? (to add to template message and let partner set his password)
It is possible to customize any text in the email template for notification about portal user registration. To edit the invitation email template: open 'System designer' —> Lookups —> Email templates —> [ Open content ] —> “Template - Portal user registration”. Edit this template to customize the email text and layout, add localized versions.
To set up a password recovery link, you need to customize the password recovery email template in 'System designer' menu —> [ Lookups ] —> [ Email templates ] —> “Link for password recovery”. Please find a detailed instruction regarding this question here: https://academy.creatio.com/docs/user/more_apps/portal/getting_started_…
There are some sections that cannot be added to the portal - those that are managed by product licensed. The projects section requires license and since such license doesn't exist for portal users - it will not be possible to add it to the portal.
Projects section is a part of sales functionality and requires sales enterprise license. Anyway it will not work for portal users, only for internal employees.
As for custom section, it depends on multiple factors.
1. The operation permissions are not active for portal users.
2. You already reached the limit for adding custom sections on portal. If you user has assigned customer portal or partner portal license - most likely you have more than 3 custom sections already or more than 3 custom objects are added to the lookup list of objects available for portal users.
3. If your portal user uses self service portal license, the section will not be reflected for him. SELF-SERVICE PORTAL doesn't allow adding custom sections.
If none of these points fits please approach the support team. It would be necessary to have a closer look what might be the reason.
Unfortunately, there is no possibility to add the "Account" and the "Contact" sections to the Portal, as the following sections, as usual, contain private information.
We have an idea already registered for our R&D team to add the possibility of adding the following sections for the Portal Users and we will notify them about this request in order to increase the priority of implementing it.
The feed functionality is not covered by portal licenses and also the feed is interconnected with other objects that are also not covered with the portal licenses so as a result license restriction won't allow adding the feed to the portal.
Also it is done so because of the security - feed can be also used by internal employees and portal users shouldn't see comments of your company employees so adding feed to the portal is restricted.
But still we have a suggestion registered to our R&D team so they could review the logic of the feed functionality and develop possible ways of adding the feed to the portal. I will inform them about this community post so to prioritize the problem for them.
