Hi,

Could you localize the app https://marketplace.creatio.com/app/gdpr-creatio "GDPR for Creatio" to French / German / Italian ?

Eg in French: GDPR becomes RGPD

Thank you

Damien

Hi Damien,

The responsible team does not have current plans to add additional localizations. However, since the app is a free add-on, you can localize it on your own.

Will need a bit of guidance then, we tried localizing, but it breaks the app...

That's a bit disappointing, knowing GDPR is a European feature, and Europe is slightly more than one language, you would expect that type of legal linked application to be multilingual...

Hi Damien!

Could you please provide us more details about the issue?

Which steps have you taken? What kind of errors have you got?

Also note that we recommend using the Translation section to add a localization.

Hi,

We had stop using it because it was taking way too much time to load (literally up to 2 h sometimes) and was unusable. Never tried it again in version 8 of Creatio, actually worked this time :)

Damien Collot,

Hi Damien,

Great to hear it works fine.

When you open the Translation section, Creatio runs the actualization process. It is required to check for and load new localizable strings.

If you make a large number of changes and you have not used the section for a long period, the first actualization can take some time.

Hi,

We're in the process of reviewing how we will design a new contact page with Freedom UI and we were wondering:

Question 1: how will the addon "GDPR for Creatio"  will be used to integrate in the highly flexible new Freedom UI section pages (example new contact page) ?

Question 2: Is is just a (or more) field(s) we can add on the page, a detail we can add wherever on the page or something else?

Question 3:  is it planned to make it compatible with Oracle DB ?

Update (12.09.2022) : Noticed in the 8.0.4 notes "Data protection compliance. You can now mark custom objects’ fields that contain personal data in the [ Configuration ] section to ensure compliance with GDPR and other regulations on personal data protection. The option is enabled by default for out-of-the-box objects."

Question 4 : That's a great new functionality, but what does tagging help us do ? Will there be an integrated mecanism to help extract / anonymize / delete the specific PII (Personal Identifiable Information)  natively, or do we need to do the processes ourselves ?

Kind regards,

Damien

Hi,

no one supporting this app anymore ?

Cheers,

Damien

Damien Collot,

Hi Damien!

1. This application is incompatible with Freedom UI.

2. The basic logic handles only the following five options: Do not use email, do not use phone, do not use fax, do not use mail, do not use SMS. If you want to add new fields to the GDPR policy, you have to write a new procedure on the database level.

3. We have implemented the Oracle compatibility, You can download the latest version on the marketplace.

4. This add-on has only internal logic without any integrations. Currently, developers are not planning to expand this solution, but you can use this logic or develop your own solution.

Hi Damien,

The developer in charge updated the app package following your request. You can apply the updates by installing the package from Creatio Marketplace.

Irina Lazorenko, @damien Collot

The UK should not be removed, please reinstate because GDPR rules still apply

https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/data-protection-and-the-eu/data-pr…;

Vincent,

Hi Vincent,

We have explored this topic in depth and thoroughly considered the question. We understand that the UK GDPR regulations apply in the UK.

Regarding the application itself: at present, the default setting includes only EU member countries in the list. If an end customer wishes to include users from the UK, they can do so manually or create automation using the BPMN engine.

Hello community,

are there any best practises on how to implement Double OptIn-Process? As far as I have seen there is no out-of-the-box feature supporting DOI. Since we are working with european clients this is a must-have for their implementation.

Dear Jasmin,

We can suggest the following:

Contact

In the Contact section, there is an added data for Double Opt-In confirmation from the following contact (if this data is empty, it means that the contact didn't accept that he wants to receive bulk emails).

Landing Page

Created test Landing Page from which we receive leads with subscription feature.

Campaign

The created campaign starts when the lead from Landing Page is received.

Email

Created bulk email for the subscription confirmation.

Process Library

The created process should be triggered when the campaign is finished and mark confirmation of the subscription in the contact card.

Best Regards,

Ivanna.

Hey Community !

I tried to install GDPR on a demo instance of Creatio 7.18 and got this error:

2021-07-01 16:34:19,827 Compiling configuration dll

2021-07-01 16:35:48,843 Errors and (or) warnings occurred while compiling configuration dll

2021-07-01 16:35:48,859 Autogenerated\Src\SysSchema.BackReferences.Base.cs(45,22) error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'NavGMarker' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

2021-07-01 16:36:09,187 When application installed, an error(s) occured

I tried to install GDPR on a 7.17 environment and it installed successfully.

Is this because of the demo version or is it just that the namespace has been renamed or removed in Creatio 7.18?

Best regards,

Julien Gunther

Hi Julien Gunther,

There is no need to restart from a fresh installation. Perform a full compilation of your Creatio instance.

Hi Julien,

I had no issues with installing GDPR on a demo instance of Creatio 7.18. Please let us know what other applications you have installed before GDPR.

Ivan Leontiev,

I didn't think about this before, I installed and deleted this application before trying to install GDPR :

https://marketplace.terrasoft.ru/app/google-maps-detail-creatio

this application may have removed NavGMarker...

Ivan Leontiev,

I tried to reinstall google-maps-detail-creatio but the installation failed... Do you think there is any other solution to solve this problem than restarting from a fresh install ?

I'm also cannot install GDPR for Creatio (https://marketplace.creatio.com/app/gdpr-creatio) on a 7.18 instance, getting errors, I attach an extract of the installation log

Julio.Falcon_Nodos,

Hi! We reviewed this add-on. The issue is with the detail name. BpmSchema1Detail is a standard schema name for an earlier Creatio version. If you have the same schema name in your configuration, it conflicts with the add-on. We changed the schema name in the new version of add-on.

Hi All,

Because of GDPR regulation i'm looking solution to deny user export sensitive data.

I know that there is a Operation permission  for export "CanExportGrid", but is only applied on section level (not specific columns level).

Second thought is Object permissions which has column level permission but i can't separated permission to readable on page than deny export such column.

Is there any easiest way to achieve this by configuration rather than eg. customisation of DataUtilities module ?

Marcin Kott

Dear Marcin,

Unfortunately, there are no other ways to limit data export. We already had multiple similar requests  from other customers and our R&D team has in plans to implement more flexible data export administration.

Therefore it will be available in future application versions.

As for now your business task can only be implemented with the help of development.
