Ai is unable to create dashboard widgets

Hi,

I have hit this so many times now, so it is time to post and get someone to guide me on how I can get the Creatio AI to actually create the charts I want.

I post my request in this way:

Add a chart to this dashboard which shows the Sum of the Product Total, where the Product is in the Product Family lookup 'ITSM'

Use the 'Order' data source and correlate the 'Products in Order' data source to the 'Products', which then contains the field for Product Family

This is what I always seem to get back:

I’m having difficulty identifying the correct data source for "Product Total" and "Product Family" in your system. Could you clarify the name of the section or entity where the product totals and product families are stored? For example, is it “Product”, “Order Products”, “Opportunity Products”, or something similar?

Once you provide this information, I’ll be able to create the chart widget exactly as you need.

Multiple passes at providing the same information in different ways, does not get me to the point of the AI adding the chart. Please help, as AI is not.

Hello,
The AI may struggle with interpreting complex queries and creating dashboards upon them.
If the AI struggles with a complex request, split the task into smaller steps:

  1. Create a chart from OrderProduct
  2. Add aggregation
  3. Add Product relationship
  4. Add Product Family filter

This helps the AI resolve the metadata progressively. Also, this can be done in several requests, so each step can be verified.
Also, the AI performs more reliably when prompts resemble a data query structure.

For example:

  • Root object
  • Related object
  • Aggregate field
  • Filter path
  • Grouping
  • Chart type

Finally, if the AI struggles to find the needed lookup or object, you may use the explicit system name in your request to the AI.

Thanks for your reply. Look I am a huge fan and user of AI, but by the time I have crafted and processed an AI request in this way, it would have been quicker to build the chart manually. Going through the UI to capture those values is the same as the build UI, so I may as well just press save on all that effort :)

I can understand that AI needs some direct steering, but natural language is the goal.
