The Default Permissions detail in the Access to Objects Section of BPMonline products is used for setting up access rights to perform the read, edit and delete operations that will be assigned for new records in objects by default.
For example, you can set up access rights so that all service contracts created by first-line support employees can be modified and deleted by first-line support staff only, by default.
Our customers often ask us what should be done if something in the company’s internal processes has changed, so the default access rights not only for the newly created records should be changed, but for existing ones as well.
In this case, you follow the usual process of setting up default access rights to the records of the particular Object. After you’re done, you will need to perform a simple script on your configuration, that will set the access rights for all of the existing records of the Object in the same way as for new records.
Find the Script attached.
