Hello !

We are currently migrating from Classic UI to Freedom UI.

Some Classic pages will be accessible from the Freedom interface, such as opportunities.

So the Opportunity Page is in classic mode even if the user shell is freedom.

If the user is logged in to Classic UI, adding a product opens a specific page:

When the user click on the add product button, this opens the opportunity specific product page :

but if the user is logged in under Freedom, this opens a modal:

So the behavior is not the same...

Here is my detail configuration:

why is Freedom opening a modal on the classic page ?

how can i correct this behavior ?

Thank you !!

Nicolas

Find the lookup named "Object-specific form page interface in the Freedom and Classic UI shell". In that lookup, add an entry for OpportunityProductInterest and for Freedom UI shell select Classic. Then log out and back in again. This will tell the system that if a user is using the Freedom UI shell, to use the classic page for Opportunity products.

Hey Community,

I am importing data through Excel into my custom section and attempting to auto-calculate a field based on two other fields in the UI. However, since the user won't be opening the form page, the business rules and JavaScript code I've written aren't being triggered .

I also wrote an" Oninserting" entity event layer code, the same  is not getting triggered as well, however the entity event layer code is getting triggered on click of the new button.
How do i approach this?

Hello,

Please describe in more detail what code you wrote (if possible, provide an example), what it is for, and how it's connected to business rule and import.

Hello all,

Is it possible in Freedom UI to enable Feed to display the connected record as it did in Classic UI? Just showing the section isn't as informative as the old setup where you could see exactly what record the feed message was in context of.
