please assist with how to add a formula in a process such that when a user changes destination from one destination to another, the expense of the new location is updated by multiplying days spent by 200.

In this case, at first, you will need to read data on how many days were spent and add a process parameter to store the results from formula.
And in the formula read data from days spent element and multiply it.
