Is there a way to automatically exit the edit record page(without clicking the close button) and transition to the section page, of an existing record after completing a certain task inside the record.

Thank you for your question!
Unfortunately, there is no such functionality in the out-of-the-box version of the application. The goal can be achieved only with the help of additional development.
We will register the idea for our R&D team to implement this functionality in further releases.
