I'm importing contacts at the moment but the telephone numbers are not keeping its format upon import even though in my excel file i made sure it was set correctly. See below:

I've recently imported records to Contacts section using this mobile phone number (443)-23-12-32 and it then correctly appeared in contact profile http://prntscr.com/qwxv1h. Import was performed to 7.15.2 clean version of the system so in case you have this data specified incorrectly it seems that you have customization of mobile phone column on contact edit page or incontact communication option that prevents number to be displayed properly. Please review your contact edit page and try to find a place where mobile phone format is being changed.
