Pre-populate custom fields on activity from cases

Hello,

How would I go about pre-populating custom fields that are on the activity when I am creating these activities from the case?

Click the 3-dot button on the top of the perform task panel (in the blue area at the top), select Advanced mode, then the parameters tab. Is this what you're after?

Yes and no,

the parameters tab does not display my custom fields. But ideally, if it did this is what I would want.

Ah yes, I forgot that list of columns seems to be hard coded. That is unfortunate. Using a task created in a sub-process won't quite give you the same capabilities. I suppose what I would do is still create the task in the case, but add some value to one of the fields where you can identify it in a process to fill in the custom values after the fact on added. Hacky, but can't think of another way to do it and still keep in as a normal case task.
