I am unable to set up “Do not use email” in Communication Channels for a contact.
Why can't I do it?

You can modify it in ‘Communication options’ detail and the value will be transferred to ‘Communication channels’ tab. This tab is used for marketing emails and attributes can be filled in automatically based on responses received.
