Is there any built-in feature or supported customization in Creatio that allows downloading reports such as Contracts or Quotes in PDF format, when the templates are created in MS Word (DOCX)?
(nb: with out marketplace add-ons.)
Would appreciate any guidance.

Unfortunately there is no OOTB functionality to convert Word to PDF in Creatio without using add-ons.
By default, Creatio provides a plugin that allows exporting print-ready reports in Word (.docx) format, as described on the Academy. To convert the reports into PDF format, you can explore available solutions on the Marketplace, such as the Aspose.PDF connector for Creatio. You can find setup instruction for this particular application in the 'Installation' tab.
