Campaign Audience without contacts

But my question is - if I have procured list of emails, do I have to create contacts/leads with those email ids before I send out campaign emails? Can I directly add those email ids to the campaign emails?

This is not possible. You need to have them loaded into Creatio before sending the campaign.
