To all Community,
I am trying to use the new freedom UI as a CRM platform. However, I am unable to schedule an Activity from a Contact Record and have it associated to the Contact, much less the Account.
I am also unable to send an email template from a specific contact record and have it associated to that contact.
I used to have History records on the Contact and Account Level that would show me what has happened in the past with this Contact or at the Account level, the entire relationship.
I seem to be at a loss here. Is Contact Relationship management not a priority? Does this all need to be built by a developer in order to work?
Help me out, what is everyone else doing?

I had asked the same questions, the automatic association of the activity should be fixed/implemented in Creatio 8.1.3. Also surprised this feature available in classic UI does not work yet in Freedom UI.
As per the relationships with accounts, also missing in Freedom UI those little icons that allows to see all the contacts, opportunities of a group in a list like it was in Classic UI. I have no answer here on when we should expect this functionality back in Freedom UI.

This is so true. This is a huge hole in how things currently work for Freedom UI. If a system uses Freedom UI activities, I end up having to create all my own ways to create tasks & emails from those screens - it blows my mind that there's no out of the box way to do these things that are critical to any CRM on the Freedom UI screens. I shouldn't have to add my own stuff to be able to create tasks that get associated to the record I am on. Really, it's nuts.

I couldn't agree more. I find it really frustrating that so many features of the classic UI are still outstanding, for example:
1. Advanced filters - (instead of having to create folders every time it involves more than a few custom filters).
2. Printing Excel files from a section/record - (which is truly the grasping at straws to what you'd expect for excel reporting functionality, I mean how frustrating is it to run a report from the market place app and have to format your columns.
I was originally told that all old functionality would be implemented by Q4 2022 in v 8.1. I understand timelines get moved, but it really feels like Creatio is spending more development time on new features like Copilot (which i totally get from a marketing standpoint), whereas integral features are just getting left behind.

Anybody knows about the timeline for Dashboards section in Freedom UI. This is kind of the only section where standard users have some real liberty, and still nothing new for them since december 2021.
Yes we can use homepages, but standard users generally do not have admin rights to adjust them....

As to the issues listed above:
1. Regarding connecting Activity to contact or account. We do not have the OOTB task creation from contact/account, so I am assuming this is a custom element. Please make sure that you have listed contact/account in "Which column value to set" in the page designer.
2. About advanced filtration, we are still working on this functionality, the R&D team has a task, so it should be available soon in new releases.
3. Regarding Excel, from version 8.1.1, can now print reports by any object in Freedom UI using the Print report button action
4. Regarding the timeline for Dashboards section in Freedom UI, we are also currently working on implementation of this functionality. Unfortunately, I cannot provide you with the timeframes at the moment, but the prototype is already in development.

It's good to hear the functionality is under development. Looking forward to hopefully seeing some of this come to fruition over the coming months, and I do hope that Creatio goes back to the promised monthly delivery cycles!
Regarding the Excel downloads. You are the second person on the forum to suggest this is already completed. However, unless I am missing something, this functionality does not exist and only the word printables is available.

This is a CRM system correct? There is no Task creation from a Contact or Account? Pretty basic stuff

This functionality was released in the 8.1 version. To export information to Excel, please go to the list component, select the records you need. At the bottom of the screen you will see option "Export to Excel":

We have created a task for functionality development. This is planned to be implemented approximately for the 8.1.4 release.

Testing the demo environments in 8.1.4. When on opportunitypage, I tried creating a task, did not see any automatic linking to the opportunity's account and/or contact.
Is it correct that it is not yet fixed in 8.1.4 ?
