As I remember there were prohibiting rights in 5.4. But I can't see this "cross" sign in 7.2.

In fact, prohibiting rights don't make sense. That's why it was removed in 7.2. If you want to limit rights for a certain group just don't put this group there. Absence of a user/group of users on the rights tab is an automatic prohibiting right.
