Freedom UI – Restrict section records by role (default folder?)
We are using a Freedom UI application and want to restrict Quotations visibility by role (e.g., R&D users should only see records with Status = Quote / R&D Review).
In Classic UI this could be done via Section access → default folder by role, but we do not see this option in Freedom UI.
Can you please confirm whether role-based default folders / section access are supported in Freedom UI?
If not, is Object permissions with conditional Read access the recommended and supported approach?
Please advise on best practice.

Hi! Task can be achieved by using a combination of the Object permissions (default permissions in the object) and signal based process with Set permissions item in it for status change event. This approach will help you to set/change the rights to some record depending on it's status. Role based folders is a funny thing, but it doesn't affect dashboards for instance.
