Setting Macro source in an email template removes the template from being used?

I have a set of email templates I would like to use to respond to clients. When I set a Macro Source to create Custom Fields from, the message template then disappears from the list of available templates to use. This is regardless of if I use a custom data source, or an OOTB one like Accounts or Contacts

Hello,

If you are creating the email using the "Next Steps" element, the filtering by "Macros source" is unfortunately not applied at the moment. We already have a task to address this behavior in the product, and this problem will be resolved in future versions.

For now, to ensure proper display, you can send the email using the "Message Composer" element, where these templates are available for selection.
