Provision to restrict Sales Executive roles from placing the orders for a timeperiod

Hello,

Is there a provision where the system can be blocked for certain roles while other roles can access it.

E.g., On certain occasions, we want to restrict the Sales Executives from placing the orders from 2pm - 3pm, while the Distribution Team makes changes to prices of the products.

How to achieve this blocking of the system?
