Hi Team,
How to set up the access rights for dashboards in such a way that it will show the data for the logged in user records?
Will enabling the sysdashboard object's record permissions would suffice or should we do something else?
Or will it inherit the access rights configured for the main section object?

Dear Sri,
Thank you for your question!
Enabling the sysdashboard object's record permissions would activate the access rights for the Dashboards here, as in the screenshot:
Please note that managing these access rights may impact the Portal and the dashboards in the Main Portal page.
The best way to accomplish this task is to create a separate Dashboard for each user.
Hope this helps!

Hi Danyil,
Thanks for the comment.
Just to understand better. Consider the scenario where we have record permission access rights enabled for Opportunities section based on created by field. And, I'm having a dashboard which lists out the Opportunities that are accessible to the current user. I'll simply create a dashboard with no filters. (no filter for even current logged in user).
Would this list only show the list of opportunities where the logged in user has access? or will it show the entire list of opportunities available in the system?
Thanks in advance,
Mohamed.
