Does Duplicate Rules work if we are adding record from mobile application.

Hi,

I have a requirement to apply duplication rules to records added from mobile application where we were given an option to save or go back to editpage.

How can I implement this requirement.

Dear Nagaraju, 

 

As for now, an automatic duplicate search cannot be implemented in the mobile application.

As a workaround, we can suggest you save the created contact, make synchronization with the server, and after that run duplicate search.

Thus, you will be able to create a few contacts and merge them later. 



We've transferred this idea to R&D team and it may be implemented in the future.
