Question

Remove stock creatio fields

Hello,

I would like to know how to remove or hide stock fields in Creatio.

For my problem on lead we have Lead stage and Status. We are only using one, so this causes the one we don't use to pollute the fields.

We would either like to delete this field, or be able to hide it from the filter drop down.

We don't want status to show up here when we search.

Thanks.

Hi Tyler,

You can change the Usage mode for the column in the object to "None". This will make it no longer show in the list of fields for the object.

I haven't typically done this for ootb fields, so it would be a good idea to test to make sure it doesn't cause any issues. If the field is used in other things, like on a page, it could cause an issue when loading since the property would no longer be seen as a property for the object. It might not cause any issues - I have done this often with custom fields that are no longer used and haven't had any problems.

That is a helpful tip to know since some custom fields are not needed later on.  It would be helpful to know if that is what Creatio support agrees with for out-of-box fields.

Hello,

We do not recommend deleting columns from an object at all as it may affect the system functionality, however the columns can be deleted from a page through the Section/Page wizard.

Regarding a change of the Usage mode for the column - such solution can be applied even for ootb fields, but the object itself should be either in the unlocked package or in Custom/Your own package.

Best regards,

Anastasiia
