how to create section with only one button without pages?

We have no cases for such experiments yes as there was no business-logic for empty section with a button.

Could you, please, clarify what exactly you need section with button for? You can simply add a button to any other section.

You will still need to create object for the section that will be similar to the rest and simply leave it empty.

Thanks for the response. I have to redirect to a seperate portal for the admin activities. I need a page similar to Dashboard section where we don't see New Record Button. It should be independent page without binding to any object and will have the custom buttons that I am planning to create in that page. Let me know how to achieve this.

It can be achieved by 2 workarounds:

You can either create an object based on view and check the check-box 

"Represents Structure of Database View" in newly created object. Then you can create a section based on this object. In this way new table won't be created in database.

Or you can write your own module according to your needs. Note, that this option requires major development. You can find information about modules here: https://academy.bpmonline.com/documents/technic-sdk/7-12/module-designer
