Fields not getting locked in Mobile App

Hello,

 

I have added an Attendance section in the web app. I have made the 'Check In' and 'Check Out' fields as Read Only and it is working fine on the Web App.

However, on the mobile app, the 'Check In' button is editable.

I have added the Business Rule as below, so that 'Check In' field is always locked.

But I can still edit the 'Check In' field on the mobile app.

Kindly let me know how to achieve this.

It is not possible to run business processes through the UI of the mobile application. Accordingly, editing the fileds elements is not possible in the mobile version.

What are the other ways we can call the Business Process from mobile applications? If it is through code, can we please have some samples for that?



Also, how can we make the fields not mandatory in Mobile (Through Code) ?

Hello,

 

This is all achieved using business rules in mobile applications. In case you need to lock the field you need to use the Activation business rule and in case you need to make columns mandatory you need to use the Requirement business rule.
