Excel Import not creating new values in products object
Hi Community,
I've created a costum object "QuotesProduct" that uses a lookup to the "products" Objet.
This "QuotesProduct" Object is used to import Quotes via excel data import.
When a record of the "QuotesProduct" is created via import and the product that is imported exists in the excel table but does not exist in the Creatio products table, I was expecting that a new record is created in the products table, as described here: https://academy.creatio.com/documents/base/7-16/how-prepare-file
But this is not happening. When I import a new record in the "QuotesProduct" the new record is created but the product is not.
Any clues on why this is happening?

Try checking Import Log lookup - it may have additional information about the import process.

Thanks for the tip, it is there why the import is failing:

"Tipo de Produto" was added by me and should be mandatory.
But there is at least one other field that is mandatory by default in creatio " Unit of measure" but this one generate no conflict. Also strange is that in configuration " Unit of measure" is not marked as mandatory.
How would I achieve a similar behaviour?

Please be sure that you've filled in all the required fields in the file you're trying to import.
The error "Table cell D2: Record was not added to the "Product" object. Tipo de Produto field must be filled in" appears because the "Tipo de Produto" column is the first column which is not filled in, so this stops the import process and it doesn't depend on the other required columns you have in the object.
If after our recommendation you're still unsuccessful importing products, please create a request to support@creatio.com with the file you want to import attached and external access to the issued instance.
