I'm trying to get the details of invoice in the email template (html code). Only getting the invoice number and amount not other deails. Pls suggest a way to get the details via email.
And also how to add url to approve/reject from the button in email notification.

the code from Darian Lewis works. As far as I know there is no out of the box way of adding lists of data to the body of the email.

I guess I found a workaround for your business task. First of all I need to say that there is no way to put detail records to an email template directly, but you can generate a printable that contains table part which can represent detail records and you can attach this generated file to an email that can be sent in terms of a business process.

Once everything is set you will send an email with all necessary data, but this data will be stored as a document in attachments (that can be printed fast if needed).
