My client is attempting to delete Bulk Emails. However, they keep getting the following message.
Can we delete bulk emails? If not, is there a way to deactivate them, when they are no longer used?

Unfortunately there is no possibility to delete bulk emails that were already sent or are scheduled for sending or are in process of sending (active bulk emails) and it is out-of-the-box logic of the application that can't be changed.
If you don't want those bulk emails to appear you can create a folder that will include only bulk emails that fit the conditions of filter like on the screenshot http://i.prntscr.com/kHAru5aCRwuV7UJUsdyy2w.png (bulk emails that are not planed for sending, that are not sent and that are not in process of sending).
