opportunity probability

Hi Felicity,

To define the Opportunity probability please go to System designer-> Lookups -> Opportunity stages lookup. 

Choose the stage in which you would like to change the % probability and open it full size. There you will be able to set the maximum probability for each stage.

Is there also a minimum property, to which the Probaility of the Opportunity automatically recieved from stepping to the next stage?

Hi! OOTB the system does not have such property.

In most cases the probability of making a deal varies from 0 to max allowed value. From business perspective, until the opportunity is completely won there is always chance to lose customer for some reason.

In the system you can manually increase Probability value as you progress through the sale stages
