Marketing - Lead Contact Records not working well with Event Audience

As a Contact record under a Lead is not a FULL contact, it does not appear in the Events > Audience > Contact list.

This is also seen in activities and therefore there is missing link between these contact types and function in activities and events. I presume this needs to be raised as a feature request to ensure that a contact related to a Lead is treated in the same way as a full contact.

This does not make the events management of participants readily trackable and reportable
