Dear Eric,

Unfortunately, there are no any options to display different main menu to different users. Only the access rights to different workplaces can be set up by the system administrator:

So you mean there is no way not to propose the Main Menu part to any of the Portal users ?

Dear Eric,

if you mean portal main page, then please check the article on our academy: https://academy.bpmonline.com/documents/service-enterprise/7-11/self-service-portal-main-page

The main menu will look like that for the portal users:

We created a dedicated portal page for  customer using the copy function from the main portal page and here is what we have.

Dear Eric,

This may happen in case user has the access rights of the company employee or he/she somehow received the rights to these records.

To investigate this case, we need to know step-by-step reproduction of how you reached this page under what user (what rights he has) and send  this request to support@bpmonline.com

Best regards,

Lily

Lily Johnson,

Thanks

Lily Johnson,

Ok for the Portal Users, but how to avoid any system user to access to the full page different options of functions he is not supposed to access to ?

Dear Eric,

To restrict the access to some system objects can be configured by system administrator. The more detailed information can be found on our academy: https://academy.bpmonline.com/documents/sales-enterprise/7-11/objects-permissions-section

Lily

Lily Johnson,

So explain me how to understand this part of the doc !

X is ok or not ok ? Chekbox is OK or not ?

Dear Eric,

X means that the users do not have permissions to do the particular operation under which the cross is put. Checkbox gives the user right to perform the operation (Read / Add / Edit ? Delete).

Lily

Lily Johnson,

But it is not what it is said in the comment below !

Dear Eric,

There is a typo in the article or incorrect screenshot. It will be fixed. Thank you for notifying us.

Best regards,

Lily
