Can someone explain what is "Waiting for my approval" in Approvals Tab

Dear Susanna,
The application allows the users to submit records for the approval by other users. For example some manager or some organization role (group of users) can choose either to approve or reject the records, contracts, projects, request, etc of their employees. The checkbox 'waiting for may approval' in the approvals tab allows to display only those approvals that you have to approve.
