Malcolm, static folder includes only those records of the section that have been added to the folder manually. The dynamic folder contains only those records of the section that match the specified filter conditions. More information can be found in the User’s Guide.
So static is a manual folder - you have to tag the records manually, and dynamic is automatically tagged - when the records match the selected filters. Cool:cool:

That's great Kate thanks!
Will we have separate logins for our different employees to this site - or can I set these up here myself. e.g. for sales, marketing, development support users etc?
Thanks for question, Peter! Your employees can surely use your account, but more convenient way would be to have a separate account for everyone in your team. This way each can have own profile with individual login and password to bpmonline community and ability to browse around the platform, make comments and take advantage of useful materials. Please have a look at video for instructions how to set up an account. Thanks!
As I can see from the website, prices indicated are not for licenses only. License is $350, but so-called 'Concurent' license is $525. What is the point? What are the benefits?
We have two types of pricing policy: Name License and Concurrent license. Name license is given for each particular user, while Concurrent licensing defines the limit of simultaneously logged in users (only active accounts matter). For example, if you have personnel that works in shifts ( say 10 people altogether: 5 from 9AM to 3PM and another 5 from 4PM till 9PM), at each given point of time there is no more than 5 users of CRM logged in. In this case I would suggest to take 5 concurrent licenses instead of 10 name licenses. This would cover the need for your team and save your cost. Please let me know if that scheme provides you with understanding or you have any questions.
Patricia, that's right. With concurrent license, you save even more as all your employees would be using the system but only a few licenses are actually purchased.
Licensing is done with the help of the license manager. You can open it by selecting the[Manage User Licenses] command in the Setup button menu (‘Wheel’ in the Top Right Corner of the Settings interface).
You can also license a user account in the [Users] section with the help of the user card. You should have administrative rights for that. Please find more detailed information in the Customization Guide.
