Hello all,

Is there any way yet to disable Creatio automatically generating packagess and adding dependencies? It seems to completely disregard my current package system setting and Creatio's assigns dependencies to go in circles which then takes more time for me to clean up. Half the time when I remove dependencies, I go back to make a save in a package and Creatio assigns more dependencies that I don't want.

I end up with so much junk packages in the database with nonsense App_ues323 names and I can't find a way to turn it off.

Hi Kevin, you need to disable the Feature called UseSchemaDesignPackageUIdByHierarchy. In yor instance must add this "/0/Shell/#Section/AppFeature_ListPage" after cretio.com to open the Features Page, search the feature, disable (turning off the “Is enabled” and “Is enabled for current user”), save and click on  button "Clear Cache".

Julio.Falcon_Nodos,

Are there any caveats to doing this Julio?

Gareth Osler,

This basically just reverts the behavior to use the "Current Package" system setting, even for all Freedom UI stuff. I have more info on that here: https://customerfx.com/article/reverting-the-behavior-for-saving-pages-in-the-creatio-freedom-ui-designer-to-use-current-package-setting/

Ryan

Hello!

The new package is creating if changes have been made to the application, but its main package is locked.

When developing an application, you can force the application not to create a new empty package, but to save changes to the package you created.
This can be done by disabling the UseSchemaDesignPackageUIdByHierarchy system feature - it is responsible for the logic of checking and creating a new package for the application, as well as the CurrentPackageId system setting and the Installed application and Package lookups.

Now you will need to specify the package (recommended Custom) in the CurrentPackageId setting.

I believe the only way to accomplish this is to use a preconfigured page instead of autogenerated.

Hi Keerthana,

Unfortunately it's not clear what exactly was done and what is the required result and what is the actual result. Can you please share screenshots or additional details?

Hello,

You can work with a file in a business process with a help of "Process file element", for example if you need to generate a printable. More detailed information can be found in a corresponding article

Using oob version of a system you can send the file with a business process to a specific mailbox or add it to the File and Attachments detail, for uploading the file to the FTP server additional development will be needed.  As of now we do not have any ready to use example to achieve your business task with a help of additional development.

We've registered a query for our responsible R&D team to consider implementing this functionality in the upcoming releases.

Best regards,

Anastasiia

Is there any possibility to hide/disable Close button rendered in Auto-generated page on standard ?

Alternatively we are looking possibility to handle this event after click (eg. go to terminate process).

It's possible to hide "Close" button by applying custom CSS style to the AutoGeneratedPageV2 schema. In this way you need to find the correct selector for "Close" button in AutoGeneratedPageV2.

The article by the link below describes how to add custom CSS:

https://community.creatio.com/articles/how-add-or-edit-css-style

I would recommend to use the Pre-Configured page instead of the Auto-generated page. You can decide which buttons display to the user. You can use conditions in the process based on the button the user clicks in the Pre-Configured page.

I am trying to add an auto-numbering field on Opportunity.

https://academy.bpmonline.com/documents/technic-sdk/7-13/how-add-auto-numbering-edit-page-field

I successfully did this with the Product object just like the guide said. It was very easy.

But when I try to do the same thing on Opportunity, there are some differences. Opportunity does not have the inherited Code –property or the methods called in the code under onEntityInitialized()

I have only tried the client-side solution.

Hi, Julius!

As you have your own field in Opportunity (e.g. "UsrCode"), so you can use:

    onEntityInitialized: function() {

                 // onEntityInitialized method parent realization is called.

                this.callParent(arguments);

                // The code is generated only in case we create a new element or a copy of the existing element.

                if (this.isAddMode() || this.isCopyMode()) {

                    //  Call of the Terrasoft.BasePageV2.getIncrementCode base method, that generates the number

                    // according to the previously set mask.

                    this.getIncrementCode(function(response) {

                    // The generated number is stored in [Code] column.

                        this.set("UsrCode", response);

                    });

                }

            }

Dear Julius,

Since opportunity section does not have an existing Code column, you can create one using means of section wizard.

No special methods needed for new column, since we are calling parent realization in the onEntityinitialized method, which has the logic of working with auto incrementing. Just be sure to indicate your custom column in the this.set method by its name, but not title.

As for the back end realization of the auto incrementing, follow the instructions just the same, but indicate name of the custom column.

Anastasia

Anastasia Botezat, Vladimir Sokolov,

I tried this again. But it's not working. No value gets set.

I have created the System Settings, the Property on Opportunity, And I have adjusted the JavaScript to have the correct string value, "UsrCode".

It's not working this time either. Is the on-client method unavaliable on the Opportunity object?

Maybe the Opportunity object does not know the Systems Settings i Created. The system settings code names are : OpportunityLastNumber and OpportunityCodeMask

UPDATE : It is working while using Copy. But no Code is set when adding an Opportunity with the Mini-Page. I am now working on this. Any advice appreciated.

UPDATE 2 : Creating and Copying works as long as I do not have a Mini-Page. I tried to add the same JavaScript in the MiniPage methods{}. But that's not working. Any tricks to use MiniPages?

Julius,

The auto increment logic is not a part of basic mini page logic. The

getIncrementCode method is written on the BasePageV2. However, mini pages are inherited from BaseMiniPage, which does not have such method.

You can add the getIncrementCode method realization to the mini page, so that it will execute the logic.

As for the back-end part, the changes are displayed on the client side only after record is saved. Therefore, it is impossible to view the code value on the opportunity page immediately.

Regards,

Anastasia

Anastasia Botezat,

 I did not get this to work with Mini-Page. I have anyway decided to work without the mini-pages. When Creating a Opportunity I just get the regular edit page where the incremented numbers work fine. Thank you.

Anastasia Botezat,

Hi,

This dint worked  even to me.

I have posted the issue in detail in the above link. Please help!!!!

I created a module that I used to generate a custom  comboBoxEdit  view  (lookup/dropdown) , then I used that module in another page (load the component)  , and the view created successfully but without data.

To be more clear:

1- Code of my Custom Module

define("UsrDropDownGenerator", ["ext-base", "terrasoft", "sandbox"], function (Ext, Terrasoft, sandbox) {

2- Code of my page

......

        methods: {

            onEntityInitialized:function(){

                this.sandbox.loadModule("UsrDropDownGenerator", {

                        renderTo: "centerPanel", //name of the container where visual module view will be displayed

                        keepAlive: true

                });

            },

        },

The dropdown was created successfully and appeared in the page  , but it does not contains any data.

When I click the dropdown ,  the getColumnList() function executed and the data are saved in the list , but no data appear in UI .

Why the data are not filled in the dropdown  , where is the problem in my code?

Hello,

Unfortunately, it`s hard to tell why exactly this code is not applying.

I can recommend you another, easier way to achieve it . If I understood you right, the task is to create dropdown with some values.

To achieve it you can simply create new object that will store all the data, and add the new lookup field to the page via section wizard.

Also, you can create some custom styles for this field, more about styles can be found here: https://community.bpmonline.com/questions/how-add-custom-style-control-… and here https://community.bpmonline.com/articles/how-add-or-edit-css-style

Best regards,

Alex

Hello,

I'm trying to produce a lookup or display a lookup with only contacts that are of type employee inside of an auto-generated page for a business process.  I'm not sure how to apply a filter to the lookup for an auto generated page.  I tired creating a contact folder filter and using that, but I couldn't figure out how to choose from the folder filter.  I'm sure there is a much simpler way, a view maybe?

Thanks for any help.

Hello John,

You can make it by means of using "Pre-configured page" element in Business Process Desiger.

There is no such page yet but you can create it using "Pre-configured page v2" schema as an example.

Bogdan

Thanks
