Help with understanding the cause of this failed package upload

Hi,

I am trying to install this package I made in 7.14.1.935 to the current 7.14.2.875 and getting the installation error (log attached). Can you please help me understand why I am facing this issue?

Dear Aaykay,

There are 2 possible reasons.

1. The discrepancies in the application versions. Basically it might be possible to transfer the packages, however it will work if the functionality was not changed in the newer version. If the new version has some changes in the configurations, most likely the package transfer will fail in errors. We recommend to transfer the packages between the same versions of the application.

2. The discrepancies in products. As far as I see there the package could not be installed since your target application does not have the required package 'CustomerCenterSoftkey' meaning that you do not have Customer Center module. Make sure you transfer the changes between the same versions and the same products, for example from 7.14.1.935 Customer Center to 7.14.1.935 Customer Center. If, for example, you have 7.14.1.935 Customer Center and you transfer the package to 7.14.2.875 Studio - the process will fail in similar errors.

How to transfer Lead products in a new Order record from a Lead case

Hi,

I'm trying to forward fields from my Lead to a new Order record created from a case with the element Open Edit Page.

In the list of values from fields that I can extract, I can not find the field Products, which I want to use to move this content to populate my new Order.

Any advice ?

Dear Louis,

To extract and add products from Leaf to Order use "Product in Lead" for reading the list of products added and "product in order" for adding products to the order. To specify from what Lead and to which Order products must be imported you may use Lead/Order Id.

Hi Consultants,

I want to add some fields from contact section inside order section, Currently, only the contact lookup that shows the name of the contact is available out of the box, I want to add extra fields from contact like Country and City fields so they will be populated automatically once I select a contact inside order section.

We are using the cloud version of bmp'online sales commerce.

Dear Mohammad,

The easiest option to achieve your purpose would be creating a custom business process that would be triggered by the field Contact changed on the Order page. The process will read the contact data (including City and Country) and auto-populate the fields with the help of Modify Data element. So this would be a simple process that consists of three elements only.

Hello Mohammad,

You can find the necessary information about the user sessions in System Designer -> System User -> Access Rules tab.

Additionally it can be found in the Audit Log.

Feel free to build the analytics based on the data from these places.

I have enabled Log user sessions management events system setting. but I am still cannot see anything in the audit log once users log off and log in.

Am I enabling the right one, I am using the sales enterprise (cloud). Do I have to contact support for anything to enable the audit..

It is possible that the settings are cached in Redis. Please contact support at support@bpmonline.com and request the Redis to be flushed. If that doesn't do the trick, write another email providing us with the URL of your instance and if possible temporal credentials to log in so we could check what's going on there.

Integration bpmonline with other application

Dear Community experts,

I have to integrate bpmonline with wordpress so once we submit an order the available products is updated to wordpress, we already implemented .Net project to do the job.

our .Net project is using the rest API and has reference to Newtonsoft.json dll file. we have some classes and three functions.

My question is : How I can apply such .Net project in bpmonline, where I have to add the references and the classes and functions.

I would like to be thankful, if someone can direct me to similar work or any documentation or steps to do such job.

Dear Mohammad,

Once your project is already written, there are several options to choose from.

1. Deploy your project as a web project or a Web API project. Further, on the side of bpm'online, call the needed URL with all necessary data from any C# schema or business process script task element.

2. Add the project .dll to the "External assemblies" tab in the system Configuration. Use it in the C# schemas and call its methods in business process script task elements.

Also, keep in mind, not to upload a .dll file if it already exists in the system, since it will cause versions conflict.

Basically, you create a business process, which triggers by the signal you need. Afterwards, in the script element of this BP you either use methods (option 2) or form a request to a external Web API (option 1).

Moreover, we already have Newtonsoft.json dll file in the system.

If you want to distribute the access rights to records automatically, you need to use Change access rights element and configure the process in the way you want: https://academy.bpmonline.com/documents/technic-bpms/7-11/change-access-rights-process-item

This element can give such permissions to records automatically.
