I would like to enable the Email to website click tacking.



I found the below article,

Unfortunately I couldn't set up the email to website from the above article?

 

Kindly guide in filling up the below fields with a working sample.

 

List of Domains : ?

utm_source, utm_term, utm_campaign,utm_content, utm_medium

 

Can you please help with a working sample?

The [Lead Source Tracking] - allows you to track Lead Sources traffic and to see which one of them are the most effective.

 

For example, you have a certain Bulk Email (or several Bulk Emails within 1 Marketing Campaign).

- Each Bulk emails have several redirect links (e.g. like this one to the Marketplace);

- If any potential Lead receives a certain Bulk Email with the above example of a redirect link and clicks it - here comes the [Lead Source Tracking] feature - it returns the Redirect URL (with all the UTMs) after a Lead clicks it to Creatio with the specified information mentioned below (yes, a potential Lead has the ability to see the RedirectURL link but it would be useless for him in any possible way) to track the information about the Lead Sources.

 

- When you specify the List of Domain - you specify the source from where the Lead comes from. (www.landing-page-example.com)

 

1.How does this feature works?

    - Creatio analyzes the redirection URLs. UTM marks work here as if they were glue to withdraw certain information within the URL specified in the UTM record fields.



2.Will a link is sent as a part of bulk email?

   - The link with the Lead Source information would be sent to Creatio only after a Lead clicks on the Redirect URL. If the user would try and see this link without clicking it, he will see only the Redirect URL, but after clicking it, in the URL bar the user would witness the customized URL link - the website redirection URL will look something like this: “http://www.creatio.com/event-crm/?utm_source=creatio&utm_medium=email&u…

 

3.What is that List of Domain?

   - List of Domain is the website from where the traffic is being generated (the Landing page from where the Leads or coming)



4.How the List of Domain be clicked by user or user navigates to that domain?

   - These links are being clicked within the Email itself. It may be a picture or a text.  (e.g. like this one to the Marketplace);



5.When this is used?

   - This feature is used when you need to analyze your Lead Sources for their effectiveness.



6.This can only be associated with bulk email?

   - This feature can be used only for Marketing Campaigns and Bulk emails



7.We have an option to add links and details in Template of Bulk-email but what does this list of Domain field is for?

   - The List of Domain is that same link you are adding in Redirect URLs for the Lead to be transferres. (e.g. like this one to the Marketplace if we would want to use this website as the List of Domain we would type in: https://marketplace.creatio.com/  in The List of Domain)

If you could re-iterate my post, I'm unsure about the mandatory values ?



When "use the UTM Tracking code check box is enabled",

It makes few fields mandatory and I'm unsure about the values.



Can you please guide in setting this up with an working example?

Any help on this would be highly appreciable.
