How to auto populate the current date in Date field without using any business process?
Hi Community,
I have a [Date] field in a section. I want to auto-populate this [Date] field with the current Date whenever we add a new record to this section.

There is a way to default values using the advanced settings. Go to the object in the advanced settings, find the column you want to populate, and in the behavior section to the right there is a default value setting. You can set this to a System Variable like the current date. The downside of this action is that you cannot control it. Bogdan is right, a BP will allow more flexibility and control.
