Changing the 'DCM' Stage color based on a certain condition

Is it possible to change the color of a stage (the chevron) based on a certain condition such as a lookup value being changed in another field?

Currently, this is impossible to do without overriding a pretty significant part of a base logic. And even then it is not guaranteed to work properly.
We created a task for our R&D team so they can analyze this feature and if everything goes ok, add it in the future version.

The task has been accepted for future development by our RnD team. We are unable to estimate when it will be deployed and in which version.
For now , unfortunately, the option is still not available without overriding a pretty significant part of a base logic.
